Another Cycle

The goose parents are in place to commence their spring cycle.  You must look closely to see the mother nesting on the island to the right.  And the father in the middle of the picture is actually standing on the ice, just below what appears to be open water.  As the beauty unfolds, mother nature will have much to say.  Will this sweet couple weather the predicted eight inch snowstorm?

And that's just the beginning of what life has in store for them.  Goose parents have quite a job to perform.
