Cherry Blossoms

This is the only cherry tree I know of in Linden Hills.  Every year I look for its lovely fruit and this year Tina reminded me to look for its blossoms as well.

As I was walking the path around Lake Harriet this morning I was suddenly surprised by the goose couple who came running up to me as if to say, "Our babies have arrived!"

They seemed quite fearless in the chilly wind and eager to have their breakfast.
