A Butterfly Feast

The back yard echinacea circle has been teeming with butterflies and bees this week.  They seem to be savoring their final juicy meals before the big departure for warmer climes.

Fun new Sketchmaker watercolor fan from Cheap Joe's.  Still learning where the colors are hidden, but enjoying the experimentation.  This was inspired by the echinaceas and butterflies holding onto summer in the many Minnesota backyards!
